I had the pleasure of engaging the services of Tejal Prajapati from TP Creative for a large website design and build project that Your Site Matters won in 2022.
We were working for a client who managed and marketed many retirement properties around the UK. They wanted their website to clearly communicate the lifestyle that people living at the properties could look forward to experiencing; something they felt their existing website was failing to do.
After our initial meetings with the client it quickly became apparent that they wanted to extend the scope of the project to include a full rebrand, and to then design the website in line with this. To do this Tejal guided them through an excellent deep dive session to get to the heart of what their brand was about.
The additional time needed for branding put pressure on our team to be able to deliver the website in a timely fashion. However, Tejal was efficient in creating the brand and website visuals and our client was delighted with the results. This was vital for us in allowing the rest of the team to finish producing content and building the website.
Tejal was brilliant at communicating with all of the website team and with the client. I was also extremely grateful to her for supporting the management of the project when I unexpectedly had to take time off due to illness and bereavement.
With the branding and website finished, we unveiled everything to the client’s team during a launch event; it received very positive feedback all round. Tejal’s work was brilliant and the aspirational lifestyle feel we were going for, in order to really bring across the human aspects of what the client offered, was very clearly communicated.
The success of the design was fundamental to the success of the website, and we were delighted when, just a month after launch, the client told us that they had seen their target number of enquiries had more than quadrupled, and they had almost doubled their revenue off the back of the website alone.
